Since Steinbeck, Marine Biology and the Natural Beauty of the Gulf of California

The next Citizen-Science lecture will be on Thursday, Sept 15 at 630pm at the San Diego Central Library.  Dr. Andrew F. Johnson of the Scripps’ Gulf of California Marine Program takes us on a quick trip around the Gulf, describing the different scientific projects he and colleagues are working on to better understand the Gulf, the animals that live in it and how human activities are risking the sustainability of this precious ecosystem. Join us for a fascinating scientific evaluation of this complex marine ecosystem, including reefs, mangroves, fisheries and the sea.
